The Team Manager is an adult (often a parent or teacher) who teaches the creative process and helps keep the team on track, but does not assist or interfere with the team’s solution. Team Managers get access to valuable resources to help them along the way—a Team Manager Roadmap, as well as a catalogue of online learning modules they can access at their own pace. The Ohio Destination Imagination South West Region provides an in-person team manager training in October.

Springboro DI is participating in the Springboro Optomist Club Avenue of Flags fundraiser. Volunteers from Springboro DI are responsible to place and remove flags along an assigned route from Memorial Day through Veterans Day. The Route Captain is Melissa Blevins and she will provide training for any volunteers interested in participating in the Avenue of Flags fundraiser.
As teams begin building their solutions, they may reqeust donations of common recyclable items.
We are hoping to expand our program and impact more students and families with our unique STEAM activities, while ensuring that the DI experience remains equitable to all participants. Support from your family or organization will ensure that opportunities like these remain affordable and accessible to all students in our community.
